How should you pick the best #DataScience initiatives? How will this impact your organization's data maturity journey? In this week's video, I share a framework that has consistently helped our clients at Gramener get the best ROI from #data. Here, data science initiative could mean a business-impacting project, a process revamp, or a people initiative like upskilling. Which quadrant do most of your projects fall into? #data #analytics #business (Link to last week's video post in the comments)

Ganes Kesari I’m secretly strengthening my business knowledge arsenal of facts & desires theory. This story is such a perfect fit. Beautifully explained. ??

I really like this - a very effective way to engage leadership and stakeholders in determining and prioritizing which projects to pursue and the resultant benefits/returns. Very valuable process especially where resources are in short supply.

Brilliant video, Ganes???? I agree, at an org/project management level, an amalgamation of both short wins+long term strategic decisions will add value and impact, however, one has to clearly set the expectations (the quadrant approach you shared explains it). From a marketer perspective, 40% efforts aligned to pipeline gen/performance marketing and 60% efforts into branding is what I would say wins.

Ganes - this is good ?? It’s important to keep only few projects in High urgency, High impact quadrant. Show success and build momentum on DS across the organization & use for branding exercise as well. At times, I have seen a tendency to classify most project ideas as highly urgent and high impact. In such cases where we are unable to drive consensus in cutting down the list, few second level criteria to consider for prioritizing further could be 1) scalability 2) replicability potential 3) Project mix (variety of themes) 4) Competitive risk (what’s the extent of damage if we postpone the project?)
