Ganes, I look forward to your articles because they always share insightful perspectives on the convergence of data & storytelling. I believe listening the the audience before a story is created help build story arc too. What i means is, story works best when we first do the work to understand the narrative of the audience. Then when we parse our data into a story we are able to weave the value (moral) of the story seamlessly into the narrative (story) of our audience. This way our data becomes story and our story becomes like music to their ears.
Great advancement in understanding the twists and impact of all narratives since the time of #Richard_Bandler's attempt to co-create a pseudo-science of #Neurolinguistic_Programming (NLP) in early 1970s and #Karpman's #Drama_Triangle in 1968. Thank You Ganes Kesari.
Different things will work better or worse in different scenarios, but just being thoughtful about how you’re showing the data and visualizing it,what you’re showing and how you are weaving it into #storytelling , the point you’re trying to make, highlighting the specifics with it can be super helpful.
