Cyberwar - advantages over war - far less blood, fewer shattered bodies and buildings and destroyed structures,,, about the same amount of screaming and shouting or perhaps even more,,,, a lot of 'nubes and innocents' gasping when they get seriously hit like being dunked in -1 degree C sea water,,,, kinda amused at the know-it-alls in securitay and business that assume ("ass of u and me" :) :D condition)that they know what a cyber attack is - diff btwn being mugged/breaking and entering and full blown firefight :0,,, but they'll learn ,,, or not survive . ;) Australyaz been hit with sneak and peek recon campaign,, but nothing seriously cyber kinetic,,,, warfare in the fifth/sixth demension may (or may not) be getting more serious and sustained,, given human nature, geopolitics, lizard brain thinking and impulses,,, "may you live in interesting times" and "in a democracy, people get the kind of government that they deserve" is happening with a vengeance,, Sic transit gloria mundi - call in sick on Tuesday? ;) "AWS said it mitigated a 2.3 Tbps DDoS attack, the largest ever" " Ripple20 vulnerabilities will haunt the IoT landscape for years to come"

we told ya,,,, ;) ransomeware and MSPs. Smh :P "McDonald's IT support and cybersecurity company, NSI in Naugatuck, Conn., was compromised by threat actors last June. The attackers used the MSP to infect more than 20 of NSI's clients with ransomware. "They came in through us," he said. NSI isn't alone. Before 2019, MSPs didn't view themselves as high-value targets for cybercriminals. But all of that changed last year as a series of devastating cyberattacks like the one NSI experienced ravaged not just MSPs but their clients as well. These attacks involved threat actors who use the MSP as a launchpad to spread ransomware to clients. In some cases, the initial attack started with simple phishing emails or brute-force attacks on accounts with weak or reused passwords."
