#Covid19 is likely to keep us guessing for a while. As people slowly get back to work, can data help do it safely? This is the theme I’m working on for my next article. I'd like your thoughts on areas where #datascience can hep. Some thoughts to get started... Organizations must work out 3 things before they open up. Within each, here are places where data analytics can help: 1. Planning the return: Recommend work schedules based on project criticality, risk levels, & employee preferences. 2. Monitoring safety in the office: Helping check the use of masks, social distancing, and monitoring health stats. 3. Handling emergencies when the virus strikes: Detecting anomalies, contact tracing, and planning business continuity. Are there other practical areas where #analytics can help today? Another angle that needs attention is the concern with #privacy and ethical usage of the massive new #data to be collected. People could feel all the more vulnerable, watched, and at risk of manipulation. How would you address these Orwellian concerns at the #workplace? How much is too much and where do you draw the line? #business #innovation #automation #artificialintellgience

I think data from CCTV can be analysed to automate mask detection. Also analysis on route taken by folks to commute to office can play an important factor. And any tech park should have a central portal where each office in a building can have a collaboration with each other to secure common area of a premise. Analytics rely more on data n pattern and I think once we have more and more data keep coming once normal work return , we can leverage analytics to take an informative decision.
