The Sapiens author talks about what will happen when the biotech and infotech revolutions come together. Yes, AI will be an all-powerful tool. But it might remain just that - 'a tool'. May not be our prime concern. Our biggest worry must be the humans that would misuse it. How can we avoid ending up as 'downgraded humans'? How do we prevent exploitation of our most powerful tools? Profound questions that need as much thought & research, as AI. PS: I’m currently reading this book and enjoying every bit of it. Quite like Sapiens.
