?? Stop copying my homework Shout out to Swamy M. S. who not only copied my post from 4 months ago in its entirety (including my custom hashtag, which is how I discovered it) but also cropped the image I included to remove the Espirian logo. Top work ?? My post: https://lnkd.in/grNgywE His post: (EDIT: NOW DELETED) PS. Don't pay attention to the content of the screenshot from my post 4 months ago. You CAN now save LinkedIn posts, and here's how: https://lnkd.in/g2MaXVK #LinkedInLearnerLounge #BitmoanJohn #DoucheCanoe John Espirian: relentlessly helpful technical copywriter & LinkedIn nerd
Unbelievable! Turning a rant into a relentlessly helpful tip.
Know the feeling...has happened to me a few times
Oh Lord. That is the height of laziness. Even a VA wouldn't be stupid enough to do that.? So we know he, himself did it. I mean it was a simple topic about saving a LI post... Just re-write in your own words and job done.. It is clever to write about what's already working on the platform or what's working for your competitors.. but at least just put your own spin... it takes some balls to just copy paste... Even copying the hashtag... now that's hilarious... did that make you smile John? Because after all, that's how you found the post ;-)? But saying all that, did you check his profile? Is he even a real person?
Ok, what's a #douchecanoe? I'm intrigued!
Cheeky. But also a wee bit flattering?
Sadly this practice does happen a lot.? Using content by others does not have to be an entirely bad thing though BUT and i mean BUT ...? GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE(sorry for the caps) It's the LEAST you can do.
Shouldn’t laugh but...using your hashtag on his post. Brilliant! ??
That's so shady! Wow! Come to think of it, though, people are probably doing it all the time, and without the hashtag, you would have never known. ???
Top marks for great use of #DoucheCanoe! ?? Often copied, impossible to replicate.
