Have you ever heard about the time that GKS saved Christmas? During one October, the height of production season in Santa’s Workshop, the main candy machine went down and needed repair. This had never happened at the North Pole facility before! They could build another candy machine in time, but they needed to get the old machine out of the production area to fit the new machine because the workshop didn’t have extra room. Since the machine was way too heavy to be carried by the elves, and the homemade dollies they made in-house weren’t heavy duty enough, Santa called his friends at GKS. They supplied him with a V5 toe jack and a set of F6/L6 transport dollies. This made moving the old machine into Santa’s office (pictured here), and installing the new machine into the Workshop incredibly easy! Christmas went off without a hitch, and by the next busy season, Santa and a few handy elves had fixed the old machine and put it back into production, doubling their production capacity for candy.
