Hi network, as many of you are (hopefully) well aware of the skills gap in InfoSec and how difficult it is to find new talent in this area I will try to experiment with one thing and see what results it brings in the long run. As an InfoSec professional myself I like to spread the good word about our career path and the wonders and benefits it brings and hopefully attract more people to it, the biggest benefit - making the cyberspace a safer place for everyone. So, starting from today I will kick-off a LinkedIn mentorship program where I will allocate a couple of hours each business day to talk to anyone out there who is interested in pursuing InfoSec careers and they will have a chance to get a 1-on-1 with me and ask everything they wanted to ask about the field. So, if you know anyone who is willing or currently deciding on what career path to take within IT, send them to me!
