Excuse #1 - I need a website. Excuse #2 - I need a logo. Excuse #3 - I need a sales page with good copy and an elaborate checkout doodad and then I need to create a $50,000 prototype and talk to, umm, about 1 million prospective customers. Bulls**t. In about 5 minutes, I was able to get everything together to build out and launch a new workshop that will ultimately gross over $2,000 (and probably closer to $3k) without any of that stuff. More often than not, I see entrepreneurs telling people that they need tons of money in order to create a prototype, that they need to do all sorts of "research" into the market. What you need to do is try and sell whatever it is you're creating. If people are willing to buy whatever it is you're selling because their problem is so huge and painful, then you're onto something. If they're not, keep iterating. p.s. I have a few spots left for this workshop where I'll be teaching entrepreneurs how to quickly write, film, and edit 3-months worth of video content in just a few hours. If you're interested, just respond to this status with "WORKSHOP!" and I'll reach out. #sales #howto #teaching #workshop
