Hey there! Sometimes your favorite podcast actually says something about you. Sometimes the reason why you like that podcast is because it aligns you with a message, and you want other people to know that you love and believe in that message. One of my second favorite podcasts (or it's like right up there with my number one) is 'Humans Strike Back,' again handled by Louis Grenier through Hotjar. One of the reasons why I love it is because the core message behind the podcast is so deeply my own. And it's the view that marketing has been messed up for, let's say, the last century. Of course I'm paraphrasing here. And with the the rise of social, and the rise of communication, humans are taking back the field of marketing, the field of discourse. We're done doing things in poor ways. We want to get back to real interaction, to things that have meaning, things that have value. If you're looking for a podcast that's going around and interviewing successful, thriving startups, entrepreneurs, and business leaders, and so on, who prioritize being human and being personal over and above profits, this is an amazing series. There's a quote that I really love, and it's that "The future should be more worthy of the human person not less." We shouldn't be looking towards a future that is trying to make us less and less personal, less and less human, but more. So one of the reasons why I love this show, why I love being inspired by these these greats, is that they do prioritize it. It is a movement that is happening. People are taking notice. People are realizing that they do have these options to leave toxic workplace cultures, or be transforming them, turning them around by asking the right questions. Putting the right people in place. Because honestly we all get it: the more human a place is, the more authentic, you know the more holistic, the more a priority is given to meaning over just the matter of getting the job done, the more people like to stay. Not only is it it's a greater employee environment, but the clients love it too. Your visitors enjoy it more. So that's why I say, I think the future is more human. I actually look forward to it.
