The Future of Money, Governance and the Law https://lnkd.in/ernuq3R was tackled head on today by a Panel of experts whose diverse opinions made for an equally exciting and illuminating conversation. Former VA Congressman Jim Moran https://lnkd.in/eMCufZh pointed to several hard truths that plead for a revolution approaching: - distrust in government has reached a high, and is absolutely legitimate; - government does not give incentives to encourage the adoption of new transformative technologies, but would rather want to keep things the way they are - aka the "Buy and Burry the tech" practices do apply; - when in our institutions the manager's job is to NOT learn and apply a new tech, how can we expect any changes... - the young generations are set to pay interest for the debt accumulated by their grandparents who practically bankrupted them... - unless we get a "crypto-Kennedy" from the young generation (but what are the odds for that...), the initiative will not come from the legislative, nor executive branches of government; So, grass roots adoption of "disruptive money ways" emerges as survival in these dysfunctional systems. Gratitude to the Government Blockchain Association for the strides made to spring this "New Money Revolution" timed in harmony with the Crypto-spring!
Dr. Mihaela Ulieru, you would be an excellent speaker at one of our other events in this series. https://www.gbaglobal.org/2019-gba-conference-planning-the-future-of-money-governance-and-law/

5 年Great Mihaela! It went always this way. Now even progressive America got this lazy disease. Au! that's our last change. THE IISSUE is that Institutes do no NOT have an institutional mechanism to change/adapt or grow like life itself. Life has DNA. Nakamoto forgot to build that into blockchain. We did. Nakamoto only wanted to prove that an alternative for banks was there issuing bitcoin in the year's banks did bad. A success, but now we must go on. Here my post I made for you. How governments finally can grow & adapt easily by using blockchain like tech. https://www.dhirubhai.net/in/berghuisarnoud/detail/recent-activity/posts/
