Can someone help me understand the thinking behind not having the card number embossed on the Apple Card? Looks cool, but how would a customer make an online purchase? Am I missing something?
Either Virtual Card In-control Payment or Tokenization In-App Payment
I don’t get the question. Basically if you use your card to pay, you don’t need the bank account to finalize payment right ? If you pay online you re not going to use the card anymore. You will use another medium. It used to be written on the bank card for sure but still it s another medium. And you can get your bank credential within Wallet app. So why should it be written on it ? And in addition you have only one apple card but you can use it to pay with multiple account.
What if it gets exchanged with someone else’s card on the counter?
Tokenization.

This design looks similar to Citi bank credit card. Most likely the name and number will be at back of the card.
