Spotify earned $198 Million from 116 Million ‘Free Users’ and also earned ~$10B from 96 Million premium users. If they stop the ad-supported model, they might increase their top line significantly coz at least some number of the ‘Free users’ will migrate. 5 年Because in the premium model, their marginal cost, i.e. money paid to the label for the stream, is very high. The question is why aren’t they are doing more advertising.
