The Apple tax! Even Microsoft pays the Apple tax (30% in year 1 and 15% subsequently for subscriptions). Different subscription companies are dealing with this in different ways. 1. Discouraging or stopping people from paying through the App Store and encouraging web signups # - Eg Netflix and Spotify. 2. Increasing the price of the App Store subscription. Eg $10 on the web and $13 on the App Store. 3. Just grit your teeth and continue to pay the Apple tax?
