This is a joke. Have you seen this? https://lnkd.in/gF59sYU I’m sick of it. I’m sick of Chad Burmeister and ScaleX.ai pushing to replace sales development with automation and #AI. It’s too much and it needs to stop. Will sales development be replaced by AI? No! And it shouldn’t be. AI and automation are here to enable sales development reps not eliminate them. I’m tired of the conversation that sales will be replaced with #AI. It will never happen. There will always be room for people in sales. So why don’t we focus on that, let’s focus on how we can enable sales reps, rather than eliminate them. Can someone get Chad Burmeister to shut his mouth? Wow!? What a post of comments.? I see all parts of the arguments but technology is going to continue to change the landscape for all professions!? Gabe Larsen,?I love your attitude about AI and sales. I do think it will enable many sales professional to a new level. Then there is a but... I do see that the number of salespeople overall will be reduced by AI/technology. Not just salespeople, but many other fields, i.e. truck drivers replaced with self-driving trucks, etc. This will be continually pushed by shareholders looking to increase profits and reduce costs, i.e. people. Unfortunately, this type of thinking has been going on for decades.

While you make solid points, it’s inevitable. The way technology has advanced over the last 20 years, there is no doubt that AI is going to replace SDRs. The only ones who are arguing that this won’t or shouldn’t happen are (of course) those who manage or work with SDRs.

Too much fluff with AI/ in? sales . Data is king but the value of sales rep helping clients solve problems is never going away .. I know this because we do this everyday !?
