I Guide High-Achieving Entrepreneurs and Executives to Gain More Freedom, Profit and Flow through Core Values Alignment! ? Keynote Speaker | Facilitator | Coach | Values + Mindfulness Expert | Author

I recently learned of the idea to have a word for the year, vs. a new years resolution. The thought is that the word would serve as a mantra or intention as you move through the seasons. I'm doing this for the first time in 2019 and finally landed on my word.... TRUST I have learned through pain and bliss that I am still on a great journey to trust myself, my body, and the people around me. I didn't realize how deeply this was missing in my life until I had an undeniable awakening last month. But now it's become crystal clear that all my fears, doubts and disbelief lies in having complete trust. What word would serve you in your 2019 journey?

This is now my goal for the weekend: to pray about and determine my word....

I picked “wholeness” for this year!

I started using a one-word intention two years ago and it has been a huge success! It’s a “resolution” I can keep. Last year, my word was FEARLESS. It served me well as I started some new ventures, took a long needed vacation, moved, and sadly, lost a beloved pet. This year the word is COURAGE. Making major decisions is great but it matters more that we grow in them.

My word for 2019 is focus.? I have a bad habit of trying to juggle too many things at once and have learned that nothing ever gets the best of what I can offer.? This year, I will focus on what is most important in the moment rather than divide my time and attention.? Also, I am focusing in on what I am most passionate about and letting go of some things I would call "distractions" in order to do so. Happy New Year!

My word is “ME”. Very general but over the last year I have finally realized that I need to start putting me to the top of my to-do list. Part if that is taking care of myself just as much as I do others, volunteering more, and deciding what I need to do to love myself to the fullest.

Oh, I love the idea of word for the year. I have been using it from a couple of years now and it really does help you stay focussed. My word for 2019 is Believe.

This is a wonderful idea! I will give this some thought. Maybe “positivity” or “present”. 2018 surely was “leap”.
