Very well studied and delivered video. It may help many to know that they are not the only one! ' individual brilliance ' can understand But not confront politics. One quietly settles with ones 'conviction ' and its ' consequences ' You move on knowing what you should never do!!

Liked the post on work place bullying, I have been encouraging my PG and Doctoral students to study Violence/ Bullying in workplaces including corporate sector and academia... More evidence based research is needed to evolve policies and to institutionalise effective structures where the bullied can seek support and justice. One humble effort in this direction was using my platform of the Equal Opportunity Cell to build confidence and encourage the vulnerable stakeholders to speak up and to train them in learning the formal procedures of bringing such incidents in the authority's cognizence ...

When you promote bullies, you are promoting bullying culture in the workplace. Plain and simple. It happens more often than not. I have spoken up in several companies and had to leave. Never found support for speaking up against higher ups bullying or abusive behavior, and this is multiple times, in various positions, frequently with women higher ups or colleagues perpetrating abusive behavior or practices that were grossly unfair and/or manipulative.
