"I am #FIRED? Yes, you are fired. Never say FIRED. You have been let go". It was mesmerizing to watch "Up in the Air" movie today and get reminded of how tough it is not only for those who are being Fired but also for employees who are doing the job that nobody loves to do! #Empathy and doing ground work is so critical as is evident in this clip. #rajlearnings
Thank you, will watch today!
I like the HR people in Hollywood movies, they always depict them as a bad mouth to the upper management and CXOs try to avoid them as they always have something to handle for employees. In real life this perfect picture is missing somewhere. Especially in APAC regions, HR professional is mostly a communication tool in human form for the upper management not a plugin for every party. Only few organisations are daring to have a real HR team who always comes with Pain points and mirrors for every one.? Thanks for pointing a big challenge of HR people by this post, HR profession is really a peacemaker job in the battlefield, and they are asked at the last minute after countdown began for explosion.? Raj this is a clip which liberates most employees....however, it takes courage to take the plunge.... It is not about leaving the comfort zone as it is about the fear of unknown.... if one overcomes his fear then success is just round the corner but are you ready to take the plunge is the moot point
Quite impressive .
Great & Ultimate Insight an Encouraging Msg!!!! Thanks
Real dialogs
Good demonstration to handle the situation
I still think they could be kinder and more empathetic when “letting go”
