#10tips10days?#CultivateSustainability??? #2?Meditation | Prayer | Introspection |Quiet Time | Physical Activity Whatever you choose to call it. When was the last time you sat alone and were able to quiet your thoughts? It can be amazing for processing your raw, unfiltered emotions. It helps you sort through the day so you don’t carry around baggage. The more you do this, the more you will see how your ‘thinker’ pulls you in directions you don’t even want to be pulled in. It’s difficult to be effective when you aren’t the one steering your own ship.? If you are interested in learning more?about this, check out Eckhart Tolle’s book, 'The Power of Now'. Once you can quiet your mind long enough you can start to visualize the life you want to lead and then move towards that full speed.? Physical activity is an amazing keystone habit to have. It is not easy to get to the gym 3, 4, or 5 days a week. I don’t love working out, but I love the effects. I love the dopamine rushes, the energy boosts, the relief from anxiety, and how much more effective I am with work. Check out the book, 'The Power of Habit' by Charles Duhigg. He says that besides all the health benefits of working out, it paves the way for success in all other areas of life. Kira?| Bobby?| Jake?| Lila
When I workout I often burst into tears either during a set or in the showers, I believe this is my mind thanking me for not only giving it mental stimulation but physical too.?
Great tip Katie! I was impressed to learn that some of the greatest minds of our generation practice daily mediation.? Ray Dalio mentions in his book, Principles, that he has been practicing daily meditation for many years.? Steve Jobs is another who openly discussed his mediation practices.? Our mind is our greatest asset!
