Being people-oriented doesn’t mean you shouldn't be task-oriented. That’s the word coming in from Pidilite Industries Limited's Chandramouli Venkatesan, who believes that a good leader embraces his company’s values instead of dominating them. The corporate veteran, who recently turned author with "Catalyst", says his previous stint in HR leadership has made him more empathetic than the average CEO.? Check out Venkatesan’s #LinkedInStudio interview with Nirajita Banerjee:
It is the hardest to work on "Deserving More'. Considering work ethics are varied for each individual, an intrinsic understanding of one's working style may aid us on the journey of building a meaningful career for ourselves. Enjoyed the video.
do you employe driver am from kenya ilike your company
Wonderful style of leadership lesson. First half sucess is very important to become effective leader in second half.one should attempt for entrepreneur role in second inning.
Terrific thoughts, that can come only from someone who lived those instances.
Wonderfully articulated Sir! I am sure it would help in having the right mindset in a professional career. Focusing on deserving more:)
Amazingly simple way of putting across some deep and profound learning and also the 'essence' of one's journey! I loved the part regarding being an HR leader in one part of career! I have always believed that CEOs would do far better with at least one stint in HR and here is a great example of that! Actually works other way also for HR leaders to go and take a P&L responsibility, makes them far better HR leader! I have been personally fortunate to make the journey both ways and that was my biggest strength as a Board Member! Chandramouli Venkatesan, many thanks for sharing!
Good insight.... like the last line of this post... focusing on deserving more rather than getting more
The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher like Chandramouli Venkatesan inspires.
