Avoid Writing Horrible CVs - Lol! After my 1st degree, and looking from the benefit of hindsight, my first CVs were horrible! (universities never taught anyone how to write a good CV; they should now!). My CV contained all kinds of unnecessary sections and words, viz, state & local government area of origin, DoB, sex, religion, a summary of secondary school senior certificate exam results, etc. For what? Hahaha! Now, people who still insist on putting these on their CVs and citing it is acceptable in their country, I often ask them, "can you submit that for an int'l job?" So, if it's 'no good' for the global job environ, why force it on the local job market (I understand you must tweak CV most times for every need)?
