No more VANITY marketing but only VALUE Marketing I mean seriously, as a Professional service (too many) Marketers & Agencies are still devaluing the Industry. At the cost of Customers. Offering ‘bought in Likes, poor quality Backlinks....’ etc. As if this is some magic potion to £ROI. I've answered over 100+ posts on blogs asked by ‘expert marketers’ ???? Real example: Marketing Expert Q: “Can anyone advise where I can buy my client 10k+ YouTube views for <$0.05?” Me: Why would you want to? A: “As people are more likely to watch videos with lots of views” Me: Rubbish! This happens all over the forums and social media. So called ‘experts’ selling quicksilver. ?????? Can the Marketing Professionals (real ones) work together this year to stop ?? this shoddy kind of practice? Can CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing Help us call this into Account? Or will Professional Marketers be forever tarred with a brush similar to (dodgy) 2nd hand car dealers rather than Professionals like Accountants or Lawyers? So LETS DO THE RIGHT THING & create an accreditation on a par with “Check A Trade”. To give customers clarity trust and ease of comparison.

7 年Agree but - who would manage this, how would it be policed and ultimately, would it make any difference to potential clients? I'm all for it, but, there are quite a few 'yeah but ...' scenarios. Of course, the other way of doing it - register a domain and set up a website - job done ;)
