When you REJECT a CANDIDATE, don't hurt their chances of getting another job. ? ?1. Tell the RECRUITER all the strong points you saw in the candidate ? ?2. Give the candidate an advice on the resume and the interview. It does not cost anything to be nice ? 3. Get back to the candidate quickly ? 4. If you know someone else who may need them, why not help both sides. On the last point, early in my career, someone told me they dont need me but made a call to another place (a restaurant) and recommended me there. I got the job and I can never forget the woman who helped me. And I still remember the name of her restaurant, the one that rejected me, fondly. Be someone who people remember. -- latest pizza SHOCKER: https://lnkd.in/dfFpQgh

In my experience in South Africa, you don't get point # 2, even when you request for it. I'm specifically talking about in-company (HR) recruiters.
