So with almost 4000 emjois perhaps just 4 relating to this shouldn't be a problem... But... Is it as simple as #mobile technology employees being so prodominately white and male means they just don't 'see' black women. Yet in the USA black people are 14% of the population. So black women are around 7%. Not a small minority... Do they never meet black women? And who gets to decide the world's emjois... Actually its a seires of the worlds biggest tech companies and a non for profit based in San Francisco... However, with 92% of the world using them and them being perhaps the most understood communication method on the planet... Perhaps this is more important than you orginally think. When we choose to embrace our natural hair, we are not only making a statement about our appearance but also about our inner selves. It's a journey of self-discovery and acceptance that can have a profound impact on our emotional well-being and how we see ourselves. Dialogue and support are crucial for embracing one's hair identity. Having open conversations with others who are also on this journey can provide a sense of community and understanding. Support from friends, family, and even online communities can make a world of difference in feeling confident and empowered in our natural hair. Embracing natural hair requires self-love in a world with eurocentric beauty standards. In a society that often values certain beauty standards over others, choosing to embrace our natural hair can be a radical act of self-love. If you are a white male, read this and learn from it. Change your behavior if this sounds like you. Advocate for Black women. White males have intrinsic power in this country, whether we have earned it or not, and we are a lot more likely to feel safe enough to express this kind of racism in public. It’s wrong, and we need to be advocates and change agents to ensure it stops. Regardless of who you are, read this and ask how it relates to you. Ask a Black woman how you can support them. Put yourself in their shoes. Imagine if this was your daughter, your sister, your aunt, your mother, or even you. What would you want to hear or say? Make a difference. Show some empathy, and change the workplace and our society for the better.

In professional settings, the stereotype of the "Angry Black Woman" often leads to tone policing, where black women feel pressured to suppress their emotions and opinions to avoid being labeled as angry or aggressive. This can create a hostile work environment where black women feel they must constantly navigate their behavior to conform to stereotypical expectations. Furthermore, the stereotype can result in the dismissal or devaluation of black women's perspectives and contributions. When their expressions of frustration, anger, or passion are attributed solely to their race and gender rather than valid reactions to circumstances, it undermines their credibility and diminishes their agency. In media portrayals, the stereotype of the "Angry Black Woman" is perpetuated through characters like the "sapphire," who are depicted as loud, confrontational, and malicious. These representations reinforce negative stereotypes and limit the diversity of roles available to black women in media, further shaping public perceptions and attitudes.
