The return to office life will face psychological as well as physical barriers, new surveys of UK workers suggest. A survey of 2,000 people by consulting firm Theta Financial Reporting found a majority said they don't want to return to a normal office environment and hours, and that two-thirds don’t feel comfortable commuting on public transport. The research reflects similar findings from Bupa Health Clinics, which found 65% of 2,000 respondents are anxious about returning to the office, with concerns over social distancing the most common worry.
