Why you should hire dyslexic staff
Hiring people with dyslexia will help companies prepare for a future dominated by automation, according to a new report by consultancy EY. This is because they possess “specific strengths” that will become increasingly in demand. Skills such as reading, mathematics and active listening are on the decline, according to the report, but a slew of capabilities and skills typically seen in people with dyslexia — including leadership, social influence, creativity, initiative and idea generation — will be vital to all industries by the year 2022.
