In this week's installment of #YouAsked, Seattle-based Kelsie Clemens asks when it makes sense to leave a job where you are happy and comfortable for one that offers a higher salary but is a relatively unknown proposition. We referred the question to the experts. Their advice? Having a job you love is rare, so don't jump ship too quickly. First see if you can make a case for a raise where you are. Do your homework: make sure you know the market rate for your position and make a list of your accomplishments before you speak to your manager. If he or she says no, start researching your potentially new employer. If it looks like a fit, go for it.
