18 years ago as I worked with DJSI I tried to get this message across to software companies - including one small attempt with Apple - they were in my time zone and it was a favour to colleagues - the response then was - particularly software companies - we have no impact.......Whilst I couldn’t conceptualise the threat vector (the mode of damage) there was enough evidence to say that this “self-evidently” not correct...and I had a bad feeling that it would not end well with such na?veté. Boeing 737 Max...Facebook...staff being sacked by the computer...Tim Cook is to be congratulated for saying this and taking leadership...the software is ndustry has a lot of work to do.
