Tesla toasts record deliveries
Tesla says it delivered a record 95,200 cars in the second quarter. That’s up from 63,000 in the first three months of the year, and marks a sharp increase from the 40,740 cars it delivered in the same quarter last year. The results come after CEO Elon Musk was forced to defend demand for the electric cars after the company's biggest drop in sales in history, which it attributed to logistical issues around shipping the Model 3 overseas.
CEO/COO
Way to go Tesla! Sales growth of 50% 1Q to 2Q and 135% 2Q year over year. Every time I think Elon Musk is going to fail, he always seems to find a way to win. Congratulations to him and all of Tesla. I can’t wait to watch what happens as the competition begins to enter his newly created market. New manufacturing techniques, new batteries, electric pickups, motorcycles, only Tesla knows what’s coming.
