Stressed startup founders seek help
Startup founders are seeking help from mental health professionals as the pandemic ravages businesses, Economic Times reports. Online counselling startup YourDost says its Founders Program saw hundreds of takers during the lockdown while startup incubators Upekkha Katalyst and NSRCEL are encouraging entrepreneurs to participate in mental wellness programmes. While startup founders deal with a lot of uncertainty even in normal times, concerns around cash flow, logistics and employees’ salaries have become pronounced now. Little wonder, then, one in two Indian entrepreneurs aged 20-40 years report anxiety as a dominant feeling.

Fear, worry, and stress are normal responses to perceived or real threats, and at times when we are faced with uncertainty or the unknown. So it is normal and understandable that people are experiencing fear in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
