SpaceX may test Mars rocket this week
SpaceX could test the first variation of a rocket ship that will be built to send people to Mars as early as Monday, Business Insider reports. The company sent notices to residents of Boca Chica Beach, Texas, warning of road closures around the launch site of the prototype of its “Starship” rocket. The prototype, nicknamed "Test Hopper," won't fly into space but will gather information for the creation of Starship. Founder Elon Musk hopes to send the first Starship crew around the moon by 2023 and to Mars by 2024.
