Netflix, Amazon team up in lawsuit
Amazon and Netflix have teamed up with several Hollywood studios to sue streaming service Set TV, reports Gizmodo. Offering 500 channels for $20 per month, Set TV is facing a lawsuit for mass infringement of copyrights. The suit was filed in California late last week by the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment, a consortium of media companies including Sony Pictures, Disney and Warner Bros. The suit seeks an injunction against Set TV and $150,000 per copyright infringement, reports Fox Business.
