EU gives Britain more time to leave
The European Union says it will grant the U.K. an extension on its departure deadline, but the length of the delay depends on whether MPs agree to Theresa May's withdrawal agreement. If the prime minister is able to get approval for the existing deal — which has been rejected twice already — the bloc will agree to extend until May 22. Should she fail to do so, Britain will only have until April 12. Meanwhile, more than 2 million people have signed a petition to revoke the decision to leave, or Brexit.
