Its possible that Australia could face up to 3m unemployed people on below poverty levels of Social security payments, with no ability to meet mortgage repayments or rent. With nearly 1m Australians prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic crisis on Social Housing waiting lists across Australia, come the end of March next year. Its likely the market shortage for affordable and social dwellings could reach 2m dwellings with no scalable Australian Government plans to solve this issue. Unlike after WWII Australia's recovery was led by an affordable and social housing recovery,with the old South Australian Housing Trust gaining worldwide leadership in providing affordable and social housing.
