The pandemic has exposed the fragility of some of Asia's biggest startups spending in the region nosedives, Nikkei Asian Review reports. Grab, GoJek and Traveloka are some of the startup giants that have had to lay off workers, while countless smaller outfits have had to pause expansion, seek loans or close shop. Some experts estimate that startups have lost up to 30% of their valuation compared to the start of this year, with experts also expecting fundraising to slow in the second half of this year.
