Comcast is going all-in to win Fox

The battle is on.

If Comcast acquires 21st Century Fox’s Film and Television units, I wonder if its subsidiary, NBCUniversal, will inherit the rights to make movies and original programming based on Marvel characters in the X-Men and Fantastic Four franchises. Or will they only inherit rights to broadcast and distribute the existing content, while the ability to make future movies and OP will go to Disney? And what becomes of Star Wars Episode IV, which Fox owns in perpetuity? Legal experts, please weigh in!

Prediction: Netflix will acquire Spotify by the end of 2019. Netflix's competitors have a secret weapon in the home entertainment war: Hulu, a streaming service that's a joint venture owned by Disney, Fox, and Comcast. Currently, both Disney and Comcast are battling to acquire Fox to obtain content rights and majority stake in Hulu. The acquirer will overnight become Netflix's biggest competitor. If it's Comcast, Netflix will likely see the largest cable company in the US bundling online #Hulu streaming with traditional cable TV. Disney has announced it will be launching its own streaming service in 2019, which may be fused with Hulu, should it acquire majority ownership. Disney will likely bundle their online subscription with complimentary perks at their theme parks whilst removing all their content from Netflix to fuel rapid growth. As #Disney, #Comcast, and #Amazon fight to win streaming via bundling strategies, offering pureplay video may not to be enough for Netflix. Acquiring #Spotify would make Netflix the market leader in both video and audio entertainment overnight and thus allow them to offer a more compelling bundled subscription.
