A ‘slight adjustment’ that has resulted in cancellation of over 30-40 flights a day at India’s top domestic carrier - IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation Ltd). For an airline which positions itself on punctuality and consistency of service, this certainly is going to cause some heartburn. The Financial Express reports that passengers are being forced to book last minute fares or to take alternate flights with one-stop connectivity and long transit times. The fourth straight day of cancellations includes flights from major airports such as Kolkata, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. What has led to this? Is it just the bad weather, as IndiGo claims?
