Australia has 'diversity fatigue'
Australian companies – particularly tech industry-based organisations – are succumbing to the concept of “diversity fatigue,” The Australian reports. Diversity and inclusion expert Sarah Liu argues that Australian businesses are often “more driven by a motivation to say all the right things” around the topic to simply keep pace with industry trends rather than actually attempting to drive genuine, meaningful change. Diversity and inclusion were often regarded by managers as politically correct topics best suited for corporate training rooms, rather than real-life hiring or policy decisions.
