Another executive to leave Facebook
Neeraj Arora, who joined WhatsApp in 2011, announced his resignation Monday as the platform’s chief business officer. Arora’s departure marks another executive exit from Facebook, which acquired the messaging app in 2014 for $19 billion. Facebook's chief security officer, WhatsApp’s co-founders and Instagram’s co-founders have also left.
- The exodus occurs as Facebook comes under mounting public pressure over its data-handling practices and public relations tactics.
