PREVIEW:

The 2024 Future of Leadership Summit? (taking place on 16 & 17 May 2024 in Melrose, South Africa) is bringing together two hundred of South Africa's most influential business and public leaders, to discuss solutions to the country's socio-economic challenges, and in particular how to reverse the brain drain (in alignment with The CEO Initiative and in partnership with Brand South Africa).

REVIEW:

Following the highly successful Inaugural Future of Leadership Summit? held at The Maslow, Johannesburg, on 24 October 2023, which was addressed by The Presidency, the Premier of Gauteng, the MEC Finance of Gauteng, the MMC Finance City of Joburg and attended by 150 prominent leaders from South Africa’s leading Brands (such as ABSA, INVESTEC, FNB, MTN, Liberty, Vodacom, SAB, Nedbank, NYDA, Workday, Momentum, Old Mutual, GIFS, Brand South Africa and Africonology - see https://thefutureleadership.com/future-of-leadership-2023 ),

The 2024 Summit is bringing together South African Business and Public Leaders co-create an Implementation Roadmap to reversing the Brain Drain and retaining South Africa’s Top Talent and Key Skills required for propelling SA Inc. into the TOP10 Business Destinations by 2030.

OUTPUT

The 2024 Future of Leadership Summit? will generate the following outputs:

- THE BRAIN GAIN REPORT which will be tabled to The Presidency, Parliament and the SETA's (in response to the Student Confidence Index which found that 90% of university students intend to leave the country);

- THE TOP10 ROUNDTABLE SERIES (co-creating the roadmap for SA Inc. to rank in the 10 Best Countries to live in by 2030, according to the Global Prosperity Index);

- THE FUTURE OF SKILLS Leadership Survey and the associated White Paper on "Winning the Global Talent War: The TOP10 Criteria for SA Inc. to attract Top Talent & retain Critical Skills"
