?During this cosy, curated gathering, two seasoned climate tech investors Matthias Engel from Vireo Ventures and Sebastian Heitmann from Extantia will share their perspectives and tips on the financing options available for the founders working on climate tech solutions.

?Matthias is Managing Partner at Vireo Ventures, a € 60m VC fund that invests into scalable pre-seed and seed companies in the energy tech and climate space with a focus on electrification. In the past 15 years, Matthias was active in building and managing a portfolio of venture capital investments as well as by executing large scale M&A projects. Before founding Vireo Ventures he was Managing Director at innogy Ventures, leading the venture capital investment activities for innogy SE (former RWE AG).

?Sebastian is a Co-Founder and Partner of Extantia Capital, a climate-first investment platform supporting founders of breakthrough technologies that accelerate the transition to a decarbonised world, enabling long-term growth within planetary boundaries. Sebastian is a former entrepreneur and CEO backed by Tier-1 PE investors, an experienced community builder, and a public affairs and climate tech advocate. He holds an MS in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
