Sheryl is Chief Strategy Officer at Substantial, a human-centered design practice focused on systems thinking and evidence-based design. Her work spans a diverse range of fields, from robotic surgery to education reform, and she has collaborated with organizations like the Gates Foundation, Microsoft, and IKEA. An international speaker and workshop facilitator, Sheryl also teaches at the University of Washington’s Human-Centered Design & Engineering program in Seattle.
