To add to the points noted, it is important to understand who learners are. What knowledge/skills do they bring with them? What are their professional and personal goals? How will they use the knowledge and skills mastered? Understanding your learners, as well as your own goals for the curriculum, lays a strong foundation for the entire process.

Depending on your purpose, you can choose from different approaches to measure the effectiveness of your CDN. For example, you can use a formative approach to monitor the progress and challenges of your CDN, and provide feedback and support for improvement.
