Today I had my Neko Health scan. Honestly, I was blown away. A few observations: 1) The experience itself: it feels more like a luxury spa than a stark medical clinic setting. 2) How seamless and efficient it was, taking just over an hour from start to finish. 3) The depth of the screening. Especially in light of it costing a mere £299. Blood work, a full body scan looking at every mole on your body, cardiovascular health, metabolic health, BMI, muscle mass, blood pressure, eye pressure test... it was the breadth and depth of the work that was so striking. 4) And to top it all off, you see the doctor *immediately* to review the results of all your tests... no waiting weeks or days... literally, immediately. Dr Tom (who also spends a few days a week at the NHS) spent time walking me through my results in great detail, helping me understand it means, answering my questions, and showing me how I might action things going forward to drive better health outcomes for myself. I signed up on the spot for my October 2025 slot, as this needs to be a fixture of every year. The most powerful thing that can come from this is the longitudinal data that we collect on ourselves... not just looking at data in a static moment in time, but on a time-series basis. To spot any changes, and get out ahead of them. The vast majority of chronic diseases are preventable. For the first time we're being enabled to fully stay on top of our health. For the first time we can move from what is essentially a system of "Sickcare" to true "Healthcare". Imagine a world where this kind of experience was available to everyone? That is a dream worth fighting for. Thank you Daniel Ek, Hjalmar Nilsonne, and Shakil Khan. What you're doing for the world is groundbreaking and is already making waves. We are all beneficiaries, and we are grateful.
