Leaders Won’t Look the Same In the Future ?? By future I am talking the next 6, 12 and 18 months. As we move towards a collective approach to continuous learning I’ve been taking time to sit and reflect on this question. Here’s what my lived experience has bought up in terms of the future talent and skill set of Leaders in today's/future workplace. IF we’re serious about solving workplace brain drain across roles/teams and functions. ??PAST SKILL SET -?Planning -?Organising/ Managing Others -?Controlling/ Directing -?Project Management ??FUTURE SKILL SET -?Being a subject matter expert - Creating ways to share expertise and insights -?Being the facilitator of team ideas and insights -?Positively influencing how people connect to one other -?Creating conditions for a learning and growth mindset We’ve got some work to do to close the gap between current and future state, but it’s an exciting time to be in this space. ?
