Find out now about the open consultation on a first mapping of needs and resources for the EC Protocol. At the occasion of the webinar, a consultation was launched (https://lnkd.in/gu3iuEh4) to map out the needs the EC Protocol would answer and resources it should use. You can answer by September 15th to help the EC Protocol to grow! Some key questions identified so far that the EC Protocol could address: ?? Identifying impacts on ecosystem condition: What kind of impacts should be taken into consideration, and how to define them? For example, negative and positive impacts, reduced and avoided, potential and actual, or remaining ecosystem condition. ??Measuring: how to measure impacts, and at which scale (site-level, landscape…)? How to reconcile direct measurement and pressure-based modelling? ??Accounting: How to account for no net loss or net positive impact? For potential and future impacts? How to attribute responsibilities in case of co-products? ?Also, key resources identified so far to feed the works on the EC Protocol include for example the GHG Protocol, the BD Protocol, UN-SEEA, the EU project Align or TNFD’s works. ??
