When live audio content came into being COVID-19 meeting peoples demand to connect, I would never imagine it's growth to this extent that Kenya's sitting president William Ruto will be live on X Spaces having a dialogue with the youth amidst GenZ protests (tunapeleka rais mbio??) The fact that anyone can host X Spaces, and anyone can join X Spaces is impressive with lots of freedom. On web users can also join anonymously providing more privacy options Furthermore, as of January 2024, X data showed that people on X spend over 75 million minutes per day listening to Spaces, the equivalent of 1.25 million hours.
