This year’s London Tech Week kicks off in 5 weeks (10 June) at Olympia – a new venue which symbolises the step-change in the scale of this event. London is Europe’s biggest hub for starting, scaling and investing in new tech businesses and this is the best place to meet the people who create this thriving ecosystem. The LTW agenda showcases the breadth and depth of tech innovation from some of the hottest founders, from all over the world. But just as important, the event is increasingly supported by corporates like Unilever and GSK who are making tech a competitive differentiator – demonstrating that the UK is a leader not just in creating, but also adopting, new tech. And of course the UK's top politicians showing how government will support the industry going forward Here are a few of the themes and speakers I’m most looking forward to: ?? AI – what else? In Google DeepMind, Synthesia and DeepL, some of the biggest pioneers in this field will be on stage ?? Spacetech - and in particular John Serafini, CEO of HawkEye360 ?? Healthtech – speakers including leading founders like Kate Ryder of Maven Clinic and Dr. Nadine Hachach-Haram FRCS (Plast), BEM of Proximie ? Climatetech – looking forward to hearing Ilan Gur of ARIA, the R&D funding agency established by the UK government to drive investment in deeptech ?? Longevity - and in particular Jennifer Garrison of the Buck Institute for Research on Aging ?? Fintech – will be great to see the combination of new players like Monzo Bank and Rapyd plus leaders from Visa and Mastercard #LTW24
