We are thrilled to share a momentous milestone in the renovation of the St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral. On June 30th, Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan led a special ceremony to mark the installation of a new cross, which was beautifully designed in a stately Armenian fashion. This event signifies a key achievement in the Diocese’s?ongoing efforts to restore this historic structure for future generations. ? The new cross, crafted from resilient bronze and to be gilded with gold to match the newly gilded dome, symbolizes faith, hope, and resilience. Its presence atop the Cathedral stands as a testament to the enduring spirit and cultural heritage of the Armenian community. ? Efforts to restore the remainder of the limestone fa?ade, the sanctuary, and adjacent spaces continue to be underway. Our team at Zubatkin is honored to serve as a trusted advisor to the Cathedral on this important work. We extend our gratitude to our amazing partners, Beyer Blinder Belle, Nicholson & Galloway, EverGreene Architectural Arts, Inc., and Heather & Little Limited. https://lnkd.in/gUMxFa-h

The Siegel Center at Sarah Lawrence College recently reached a significant milestone. Cristle Collins Judd Judd and members of our Zubatkin team opened the doors of our construction site for a behind-the-scenes tour for a group of graduating students. In a touching tribute, these students left their mark by signing a wall of the building, becoming a permanent part of the center’s history. ? Originally built in 1916 by William Van Duzer Lawrence, the Ruth Leff Siegel Center has evolved significantly over the years. From housing faculty to serving as the college infirmary, to becoming “The Pub” – a collaborative space for students – the center is now entering its next chapter. The Siegel Center is set to transform into a dynamic “HUB”: a center for humanity, understanding, and belonging. It will feature new spaces to support and bring together multiple student communities, including Common Ground, the LGBTQIA space, and the Spiritual Space. ? Zubatkin is honored to partner with Sarah Lawrence College, Consigli Construction Co., Inc., and DIGSAU architects in planning, designing, and implementing this beloved space for the campus! ? #hardhattour #siegelcenter #thehub #sarahlawrencecollege
