During an engaging panel at the WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association) Congress, our EVP, CDTO, Group President China, Brazil & Precision Animal Health, Wafaa Mamilli, emphasized the importance of ongoing investment and global collaboration to elevate veterinary education in China. While Zoetis contributes through initiatives like the Zoetis Academy, Zoetis Dairy School, and efforts to enhance farming technology, it is clear that broader partnerships are crucial to advancing the profession. Wafaa also highlighted the vital role of the Zoetis Foundation, which supports the veterinary industry in China with key grants to the China Agricultural University (facilitated by Give2Asia) and Kansas State University’s US-China DVM program. These initiatives equip students and clinicians with the tools and knowledge needed for success in an increasingly globalized industry. Earlier this week, we commemorated the expansion our of Capability Center in Hyderabad, India. This expansion is a cornerstone of our global strategy to harness technology for better animal health outcomes. By tapping into India's world-class data and digital talent and vibrant start-up ecosystem, we're accelerating our ability to deliver breakthrough solutions for veterinarians, pet owners, and livestock farmers across the globe. The expansion is expected to create several hundred new high-skilled jobs by the end of 2025 with capabilities spanning AI-driven diagnostic tools to industry-leading digital solutions to advance our vision to shape the future of animal care. #AnimalHealth #Innovation

As the new academic year approaches, we are thrilled to see aspiring veterinary professionals prepare for their studies. With our steadfast commitment to enhancing access to veterinary and technician training, Zoetis Inc. donated $3.4 million in funding to AAVMC for the Veterinary Student Scholarship, impacting more than 1,900 students between 2015 and 2020. From 2021 to 2023, the Zoetis Foundation provided $4.4 million in grant funding to AAVMC for the scholarship program, impacting more than 800 students embarking on careers in veterinary medicine. Through this scholarship initiative, the Zoetis Foundation is supporting a more inclusive veterinary community and fostering broader access to veterinary training.
